Why "verified" matters here
Most listing sites let breeders write whatever they want about themselves. BreederHQ does not. The breeders on this platform manage their actual breeding program inside BreederHQ, health testing records, pedigrees, breeding plans, waitlists, contracts. When they publish a profile to the marketplace, what you see is grounded in those records.
Each profile may show three kinds of indicators: identity confirmation via Stripe Identity (operated by Stripe, Inc.), public-registry passthrough where supported (OFA, AKC, AFA, etc.) with a link to the source record, and the breeder\u2019s own attestations for everything else. BreederHQ does not verify or vouch for credentials beyond what these passthroughs return. Profile Indicators like typical response time and completed transactions are calculated from actual platform account history.
