What the indicators on a breeder profile mean
Identity confirmation
"Identity confirmed via Stripe Identity" means Stripe (not BreederHQ) confirmed the breeder\u2019s government-issued ID matched the legal name on file. BreederHQ does not perform the verification itself.
OFA / AKC registry passthrough
"Confirmed via OFA registry" (or AKC, etc.) means BreederHQ queried the public registry and got a matching record. The registry is the authoritative source; click the source-record link to confirm current status.
Breeder\u2019s own attestation
PennHIP results, Embark genetic panels, breed-specific clearances without OFA passthrough, and program history are the breeder\u2019s own attestation. BreederHQ does not open, read, or vouch for any uploaded document.
What you can see on a dog breeder profile
- Health testing results: OFA scores, PennHIP, Embark panels, breed-specific clearances. Available by parent dog when the breeder has uploaded them.
- Pedigrees with COI: multi-generation pedigree trees with coefficient of inbreeding calculation per pairing.
- Breeding history: past litters, current pregnancies, upcoming planned breedings, and waitlist status.
- Titles and achievements: conformation, performance, working titles on parents and offspring.
- Photos and program story: gallery, what makes the program distinctive, who the breeder is.
- Contracts and guarantees: health guarantee terms, return policies, contract templates the breeder uses.
