What the Indicators on a Profile Mean
BreederHQ does not verify or vouch for breeders. A profile may show three kinds of indicators that buyers can weigh for themselves.
Identity confirmation (Stripe Identity)
Stripe Identity (a service operated by Stripe, Inc.) confirmed the person\u2019s government-issued photo ID matched the legal name on file. The profile shows the date of the confirmation.
Public-registry passthrough
BreederHQ queried a public registry (OFA, AKC, AFA, state licensing boards, etc.) and the registry returned a matching record. A link to the source record appears with the indicator. The registry is the authoritative source.
Breeder\u2019s own attestation
Health testing results, breeding program details, business policies, and any credential without Layer 2 passthrough are the breeder\u2019s own attestation. BreederHQ does not open, read, or vouch for any uploaded document.
Profile Indicators (Account-History Facts)
BreederHQ may also display Profile Indicators based on the account\u2019s actual history on the platform. These are facts about platform behavior, not endorsements.
- Joined date — when the account was created on BreederHQ
- Typical response time — rolling average for buyer inquiries through the platform
- Completed transactions — count of platform transactions closed without a pending dispute
- Open disputes — count of unresolved platform disputes at time of display

Yes. You can message any breeder directly through the marketplace. The breeder’s typical response time appears on their profile as a Profile Indicator based on their actual reply history through the platform.
