Identity confirmation
"Identity confirmed via Stripe Identity" means Stripe (not BreederHQ) confirmed the breeder's government-issued ID matched the legal name on file. BreederHQ does not perform the verification itself.
Registry passthrough
"Confirmed via ILR registry" (or LANA, CLAA, etc.) means BreederHQ queried the public registry and found a matching record. Click the source-record link to confirm current registration status directly with the registry.
Breeder's own attestation
Fiber test results, health records, EPDs, and program history are the breeder's own attestation. BreederHQ does not open, read, or vouch for uploaded documents. Review them directly and ask for source records.
What you can see on a llama breeder profile
- Pedigrees and registration: ILR, LANA, or CLAA registration numbers with documented sire and dam records — not just "registered lineage" claimed in an ad.
- EPDs and fiber quality data: Estimated Progeny Differences where available, plus micron, staple length, fleece weight, and color data for fiber programs.
- Health documentation: BVD/leptospirosis/tuberculosis testing, vaccination records, and the herd health program the breeder maintains.
- Program type and breeding goals: whether the program breeds for guard duty, fiber production, performance showing (ALSA), companions, or breeding stock — in the breeder's own words.
- Cria and offspring history: past offspring, herd-development notes, and what the breeder has produced over time.
- Photos and buyer context: current animals, facilities, and what makes the operation distinctive.
