A Real Marketplace for Goat Specialists
Goat breeders need providers who actually do goat work, not generalists who treat goats like small cattle. BreederHQ Marketplace now models caprine services as first-class categories — disbudding, hoof, fecal, DHIR, appraisal, buck, AI, vet, and transport — so the right specialist surfaces for the right job.
Flat $5/month per account. No commissions. No per-booking fees.
Why Goat Discovery Is Broken
Goat breeders find providers through Facebook groups, regional breed clubs, and word-of-mouth chains. That works until it doesn't.
Buried Under Livestock Generalists
A search for "livestock services" returns cattle and sheep providers who don't do goats often, don't know registry tattoo rules, and don't run the right disease panels.
Facebook Recommendations Have a Half-Life
The good buck-service breeder, the right disbudder, the active DHIR supervisor — every one of them is one Facebook scroll away from being forgotten the next time you need them.
No Discovery Across Breed-Club Lines
ADGA, AGS, NDGA, ABGA, AKGA, NPGA, MDGA, NMGA, USBGA, MGR, AMGR, and Pygora breeders all want the same recurring services. They rarely find the same providers.
No Trust Surface
CAE / CL / Johne's testing posture, biosecurity routine, sanctioned supervisor status, registry affiliations — there's no consistent place to compare providers on what actually matters.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the caprine services marketplace for?
Goat-specific service providers: disbudders, hoof trimmers, fecal egg count labs, DHIA / DHIR supervisors, linear appraisal hosts and coordinators, buck-service breeders, AI techs, ambulatory goat veterinarians, and goat transporters. If most of your billable work involves goats, this is the right category.
How much does it cost to list?
Listings are a flat $5 per month per provider account during general availability. There are no commissions, no per-inquiry fees, and no per-booking fees. Early access listings are free while the caprine category builds out.
Why is "caprine services" separate from "livestock services"?
Goat work is its own ecosystem — registry rules, disease pressure (CAE, CL, Johne's), reproductive protocols (CIDR, buck effect, laparoscopic AI), and production records (DHIR, linear appraisal) are caprine-specific. Generic livestock-services listings get buried under cattle and sheep work and stop being useful for goat-only providers.
Do I list under the umbrella or under a specialist category?
If you only do one specialty, pick that specialty (Goat Hoof Trimming, Buck Service, Mobile Goat Vet, etc.). If you do several, the umbrella "Caprine Services" listing lets you describe your range. You can list under more than one specialist category if you genuinely do the work.
How does identity and credential display work?
You can complete identity verification through Stripe Identity (operated by Stripe, Inc.), which adds an "Identity confirmed via Stripe Identity" indicator to your profile. Business address, insurance, registry affiliations, and DHIA / appraisal-program supervisor status are your own attestation on your profile. BreederHQ does not verify those independently. For credentials issued by organizations with a public registry, BreederHQ may display a passthrough indicator linking back to the registry. See /trust for the full policy.
Will my listing show up in Google search?
Listings are indexed pages on the BreederHQ Marketplace and are eligible for search-engine indexing. Each listing gets a stable URL you can share, link from your own site, and put on business cards.
